No spoilers but it definitely made me shiver! Deep in the middle east lives Miriam, an independent and smart archer and weapon maker. This second Horseman is ruthless and more deadly, killing everyone and everything in it’s path and NOT in the way you think. It’s not sickness this time to kill all humanity though, it’s all out War. The end of the world is here and with Pestilence being stopped, the next Horseman War was awakened.

She had literally done the impossible, she had made the four biblical horsemen interesting and more importantly intriguing and somehow attractive?! Pestilence completely blew me away and had my mind spinning with possibilities of THREE more horseman books, how in the world was she going to top Pestilence? But Laura definitely came through and knocked the ball outta of the park with War!

Overall thoughts: Laura Thalassa had big shoes to fill after Pestilence (the first book in the Four Horseman series) came out. And so she must make the ultimate choice: surrender to War and watch humankind fall, or sacrifice everything and stop him. However, if there’s one thing Miriam has learned, it’s that love and war cannot coexist. But there’s another side to him, one that’s gentle and loving and dead set on winning her over, and she might not be strong enough to resist. Now Miriam faces a terrifying future, one where she watches her world burn town by town, and the one man responsible for it all is her seemingly indestructible “husband”. But when the massive and terrifying horseman corners Miriam, he calls her his wife, and instead of killing her, he takes her back to his camp. There is no surviving this, especially not once Miriam catches the eye of War himself. Houses are burning, the streets run red with blood, and a traitorous army is massacring every last resident. The day Jerusalem falls, Miriam Elmahdy knows her life is over. They came to earth, and they came to end us all. Four horsemen with the power to destroy all of humanity. Genre wise War belongs to paranormal romance and apocalyptic romance.ĭescription: They came to earth-Pestilence, War, Famine, Death-four horsemen riding their screaming steeds, racing to the corners of the world.

I will definitely be adding War to my bookshelf very soon!īasics: War was released on July 11th 2019, is book #2 in The Four Horsemen series and is part of the Kindle Unlimited program. The Cover: War has a goregeous cover! I love how it depicts War perfectly and it is exactly how I imagined him when he is being introduced in the book.
